Reiki I: Self and Community Care

Reiki is an accessible healing practice that can be used as a part of your
own self care practice as well as sharing it with others. If you’re interested in deepening your relationship with reiki, building your skills in sensing and working with energy, strengthening your energetic boundaries, tapping into your own abilities as a healer, this class is for you! Reiki I is a 2-day class that takes place over the course of a weekend. Typically the Saturday class is 10am-5pm and the Sunday class is 10am-4pm. Class size is limited to 4 participants. You will learn/experience:
History of reiki
How/when/where/who of reiki
Tools for grounding self, clearing energy, maintaining energetic boundaries
Frameworks for conceptualizing energy centers and flow in the body
4 reiki attunements over the course of the weekend
Practice sensing energy in self and others
Practice using reiki as self care (self reiki sessions)
Practice giving full reiki sessions to other people
Envisioning ways reiki can be used with other beings (animals, plants, all beings!)
Time for self reflection and integration
Reiki Level 1 certification

Reiki II Class: Healing across Time and Space

In this class you will learn/experience/practice:
Reiki II attunement
Learning the specific reiki symbols to practice distance reiki as well as incorporating into your current in-person reiki
Offering distance reiki to individuals, groups, communities
Offering reiki to past, present or future events (micro and macro)
Using reiki to ‘seal’ a space and create a container
Continued development of energetic boundaries + grounding and clearing strategies
