The body knows what it needs, even times when the mind and heart may not. I bring a deep sense of reverence, attentive listening and curiosity to my massage sessions.  My goal is to work with each client and their body, as it is that day, to support release of tension and stress and hold space for healing, hope and wholeness. I have received massage in my own life to help maintain my body when I’ve had physically demanding jobs, support healing from complex injuries and as a self-care tool.

My training at DiscoveryPoint School of Massage grounds my practice in a strong foundation of anatomy, physiology and kinesiology.  I’m currently training in Craniosacral Therapy with Pat O’Rourke and look forward to integrating this modality as well. Specific techniques and approaches that I incorporate into massage sessions are:

  • Swedish massage (relaxation)

  • Site specific (deep tissue)

  • Neuromuscular techniques

  • Myofascial release

  • Lymphatic Facilitation

  • Movement

Particular areas of interest and specialization:

  • Relaxation massage for caregivers, social workers, educators, community organizers, healthcare providers, artists (+ everyone!)

  • Queer/Trans/Non-binary pregnancy massage

  • Injury specific treatment

  • Surgery Recovery

  • Nervous system support

  • Chronic health conditions

  • Palliative care

  • End of life care
